These are really cool! This is why years of reading picture books with my kids inspired me to write. How can you not become more curious looking at pictures like these?

It could so easily be a world depicted in Only Forward or Spares. Amazimg detail.

They could, actually!

It has the feeling of an alien landscape with the artificial alphabets. Getting a Ligotti vibe.

Appreciate these, opening whole new landscapes for me!

How can they make it look like a picture from an Edwardian photo that could be from 200yrs in the future?

Definitely an Only Forward vibe for me.

Edwardian from the future is a perfect description!

Love these, they remind me a bit of the cover art for the Iron Maiden album Somewhere in Time by Derek Riggs

Really cool work. So 3D!

There's something not-quite-right feeling about these. As if some of the angles of the buildings are just ever so slightly...off.

I know - I love that :)

I can't stop exploring. Like you I would love to wander a bit. I was at a concert in Cambridge, MA last night and being in the city I had the urge to start waking even if it meant missing the concert. The world is too big and life too small not to find somewhere you belong no matter how temporary that may be.

I'm exactly the same. It drives the family nuts. They leave me somewhere and then find I've wandered off to see what's around the corner...

Being in the city I don't believe has the same effect on my girlfriend as it does for me as she was born in Boston. I still get a sore neck if I stay here for too long because I can't stop looking up and looking at everything around me. The tallest thing in the town that I grew up in was a tree.

Very nice! Exercise in perspective.

A beautiful stillness about them - possibly because of that perspective rightness
